This is not about Ugandans consuming sugar. That is wrong assumption!
Most of the sugar produce in Uganda are exported abroad; what Ugandans
locally consume cannot amount to even 20% of what the Madhvanis produce.

I had almost forgotten about these Madhavanis boosting about exporting their
sugar to other surrounding countries. Them boosting about how much export tax
they contribute to the Uganda gov't for these things.

I think all Ugandans should STOP consuming sugar! And yet every time I pass
through the city I see people drinking tea and coffee! Most of these rural
people have not TASTED sugar in their lives. Madhvani's sugar would have no
market if these city dwellers were not eating up all that sugar.
