Another option is to run setup /a to create an administrative share
point for Office 2003; this can be useful if you also want to create a
transform to, say, not install Outlook or something.
I did this for my original install of Office2000 a few years back and
found it to be nothing but pain.
When I install Office2003 via a network share (Z:\packages\office2003),
it fails saying that it is corrupt. When I run the identical command
from E: (the cd-rom), it works fine.
I have double-verified the network files against the CD and they're
identical. I have the same problem with Visio,

(1) The reskit file doesn't automatically download the resource kit.
This seems to be true because there is no place to download it from. A
comment (or two) in the batch file explaining this and where it can be
obtained from would be useful.

I spent a day searching out XP delpoyment methods (and reading the
Microsoft Sysprep stuff with increasing pain) before I came across this
program.
I'm impressed! Very nicely done (especially the automatic download of
URLs for applications). Unfortunately I can't get it to work.
