I was wondering if there's an easy way to check (through the command
line) if a certain software is installed.

Eeek .. my bad .. i did saw some references to wpkg, but thougth it'd
be some windows tool/set_of_tools that could help out in the job.
I did however install the unattended-ui and at least graphically and
the content looked like
