Hmm, the command xinput set-prop doesn't seem to work. For me, it just

I had a similar problem with a Winfast Leadtek PVR 2000. In 9.04 everything
worked out fine. Upgrade to 9.10 and neither Mythtv, Tvtime or Xawtv could scan
channels. It appears that the tuner is no longer responding and cannot change
channels.

So you added Sourceforge mirrors IPs? Now APT can't do this all alone?
That would explain why I couldn't install VLC media player, too.
Anyway, that's an idea. I'm trying later~.
