I am no expert on this but since you want a quick answer, I suggest you
to try another version / rewrite the image into the SD card. Besides,
you should give us more detail like what audio output are you using,
Analog/HDMI/DAC.

I've just started with the piCorePlayer today and want to add a wi-fi
dongle to it. I have one, an On networks N300MA, but this only has
windoze drivers. I've tried to install ndiswrapper so I can use them,
but my unix and tinycore skills are not up to it. I'm connecting using

I've got picoreplayers set up on two RPi's, changed the mac address on
2nd unit - but when syncronised the 2nd unit stutters a little every now
and again. The first units wifi, the 2nd one is LAN. Using 3.5mm
output on both
Any ideas?

no, I had alsa params set to "40::16:"
Will change to "-a :::0" and see if I have still problems with output..

With my DAC amixer has a playback range of 0 - 128, using "amixer set
PCM 100% unmute" gives me full volume output.

Regarding your first question with bad sound from the audio jack. Did
you use the picoreplayer menu and from here choose the "analog audio
option" and next choose "restart squeezelite option"? For me there is no
stuttering via analog output.
Are you using wired or WiFi connection?
