Hifiberry has a new DAC -- the DAC+ Pro
It's drivers just got merged into the main raspberrypi linux kernel:

Hi peeps.
My rotary encoder package appears to be working albeit with limited
testing. At the moment it has to be installed by hand until I can get to
grips with the package management requirements to get it into the repo.
