If I do a fresh install of LMS in a new FreeBSD jail, what config files
do I need to copy out of my old jail?
You'll certainly want to use LMS' prefs folder. It contains (at least)
server.prefs, plus for all the plugins. Try to find it on your system
and link accordingly. I can't help with
I'm sending this note in the hopes that someone has traveled this route
and knows the answer, rather than my discovering it from yet another
painful learning experience (like my earlier post on recovering from a
perl update.)

When SoA went away I installed Debian on my Wandboards and have been
running them that way for years now.

I mean the 'Arch User Repository (AUR)' (https://aur.archlinux.org/),
where you'll find current packages (so-called PKGBUILDs) for 'LMS'
Been a long time since I used a 3.5 system, but it should still work
similar today. Sounds like its waiting for network.
Start as you would, then plug a network cable in. You should be able
to connect that way and then look at the boot logs. Or connect a
keyboard and monitor to see what
I have a RPi 2 running PiCore Player 3.5.0 that is my travel music
system. I attach a SSD, run squeezelite and LMS on it and plus on some
headphones or a speaker and it worked fine. I set up wireless access
point so I can control it from my phone.
It worked fine a year ago. Now, the AP fires

There are quite a few bugs in that beta, but not specifically
ok, sorry, perhaps I didn't make that clear enough.
Other than the network mount, everything else seems to be working on the
Pi3. Are there any other potential problems I should be aware of?
Thanks

I missed that you moved the SD card, you _cannot__do that. As the Pi4
uses a completely different kernel and modules. We include all of the
kernels on boot disk, but when you add things, only the current running
kernel extensions are downloaded.

Yay, I got it working. It was quite simple in the end.
I deleted and then reinstalled the 'Additional File Systems'. Once I'd
done that it mounted the network drive straight away without any errors.

Thanks, I have re-entered it about 20 times :)
Wouldn't the netmounts.conf file have been carried over when I imaged
the Pi4 SD card before putting it in the Pi3?
Sorry to be a pain, this isn't a big deal but it is annoying

I would try to re-enter that, not sure how you would be adding a space
when copying and pasting, also the vers option for cifs normally takes
vers=1.0 (With the .0 on it)
If you want you can copy the file /usr/local/etc/pcp/netmounts.conf from
your pi4 and put it on your pi3.
sudo scp
I just noticed that in the pCP.boot.log i get these messages
Mounting Network Drive...
mount: /mnt/music: unknown filesystem type 'cifs'.
Disk Mount Error, Retrying 2 more times...sleeping 10 seconds.
mount: /mnt/music: unknown filesystem type 'cifs'.
Disk Mount Error, Retrying 1 more
Thanks Paul but I think that may have been an error in my copy and
pasting. There is no space on the actual settings box. This is the
revised output.
[ INFO ] Mount configuration changed for 192.168.0.15:/multimedia
[ INFO ] Unmounting Old Mount Point: /mnt/music.
[ INFO ] New Mount Point
You have an extra space in gid= 50

Thanks. But since my Wandboard
Morning
Is there any reason why pCP 6.0.0-b1 shouldnt work in a Pi3B?
I have it working well on a Pi4 but when I image the card (using
Win32DiskImager) and put it in the 3B I cant get the network disk to
mount. It mounts perfectly on the 4 but not on the 3 even though the
settings are
Hi. As explained 'here'

I'm trying to reinstall SoA on my Wandboard. I followed your
suggestion:

as above, I also went RPi/PCP after my Wandboard died. As it is
currently supported (unlike SoA) it was much easier to get a new server
up and running. If you are interested in that have a look at
