A simple one-button method to clone the SD card to another location
(including another SD card) could be a useful addition to pCP - good
luck
We have actually been toying with DD based backups, but nothing is
final. LMS is what throws the monkey wrench into other methods.

The old way you could only use one DAC or bluetooth
You can set up multiple bluetooth speakers in pCP6:

I've found that I can get three of them playing simultaneously - the
fourth one causes problems. But that's only during playback - you can
have more than
I realise this is not the same as backing up a configuration, but it may
be useful as a way to backup your entire SD card - I do a nightly
backup of the SD card with this script:
Code:
imagefile=$1
bs=$(fdisk -l | grep -A 3 mmcblk0: | grep Units: | awk -F= {'print
ops.. no! only one speaker is playing...

Ok, it works.
I noticed that now the tab Squeezelite Settings/Audio Output Device
Settings looks overridden by the BT manu.
The result is that now my LMS sees TWO players.. one has the speaker's
name, the other the name I had chosen for the player.
I can drive both speakers with one Raspi, which
Ah, thanks very much. :-)

I need to remove the save to usb option, until I can fix it right. it
worked back in the pCP 3.x days, but is is most usesless today.

If I have a USB thumb drive plugged in and I save my configuration, the
next time I restart the server, it fails to start. At that point I just
have to unplug the USB thumb drive and restart it. I don't have a
monitor hooked up, so I don't know where it's getting hung. Obviously
the config seems
ok, thank, will try and let you know

Hello All,
I have two identical sets of Raspberry, running PCP, and connecting each
with identical USB BT dongle to identical BT speakers.
I had the bad idea to move one from v4.0 to v5.0, and now that one
doesn't work anymore (BT Connect Daemon is not running).
I did it all over once more
Good to know problem was sorted. I hate when weird problems are left
hanging .
Some issues with two net interfaces have come up before (mainly
configuring LMS) but I can't remember any matching your symptoms.
