If you don't see it print the log file that it is writing the streamer
device entry, then streaming isn't going to work.In the example log
from the other user, his device was named "seven"..I'm wondering if
the default name coming from Bluetooth has some odd characters.
I'll check it

Most of the tweaks are already enabled for the onboard audio..on a
2B, it's really not that good. A cheap i2s dac would be a better
option.

Once you have remouted the drive, then you will need to fix the
permissions. I don't have a mac, so I really cannot test very well.
If you want to write to the device while mounted to the pCP system, I
would not use an hfs formatted drive. If you really don't want to
reformat it, then I

What DAC do you wish to use? Connecting a USB dac to the USB3 port
should work just fine. Most should work, but I'm sure there are some
problems, and I have not
Hi
Just a short Question.
Does the Pi4 support Audio out on the USB3 port?

I have the four buttons working well under pCP6-b7, using sbpd. Buttons
A and B (GPIO 5 and 6) control volume, and X and Y (GPIO 16 and 20)
control 'fwd' and 'rew' (I've also programmed 'long press' commands as
well). None of the buttons interferes with playback.
Looking forward to JQW's
The Pimoroni software install worked - that button was mapped to Volume

If you mean a LMS player - then it is squeezelite.
Picoreplayer is a whole system - it woudl replace libelec.
Do you want to run a LMS server and a player or just a player.
Just saying "Libelec" is not enough - what is the Libelec version ? any
idea of the kernel version ?
If you *just*

Did you get that 4th button to work with the official software set-up
from Pimoroni - while sound was playing?
I ask because I didn't think that sharing the I2S pin with input GPIO 20
would work.

At bit more on being unable to map GPIO 20 via gpio-key:
I get this in the kernel log:
Code:
[ 23.481474] input: button@14 as /devices/platform/button@14/input/input0
[ 23.657371] input: button@10 as /devices/platform/button@10/input/input1

Hi,
i have a wetek 1 with on board digital audio:
Code:
AMLogic AML8726-MX Dual-Core ARM Cortex A9 CPU @ 1.5 GHz
actual it runs libreelec.
I like to use picoreplayer on it. would this be possible?
Thanks for hints

I read your post and other replies. I issued the command:
sudo mount -o
Do you have any hints / parameters to set in order to optimize audio
quality? i use the 3.5mm audio jack of the raspi.

That did the trick !
Thanks Paul
Sorry I keep forgetting the mirror repo ! (Though I did not change to it
A hfsplus drive is mounted read-only on the Pi if you are not doing
something else (described in my linked message).
So you can not write to it, although you maybe have write permissons!
