Hi-Fi Berry Dac2 HD.I've used the 'DAC+ Pro' in my other player, but
this would be a first for the 'DAC2 HD'. I thought that I might give it
a try. Is the option on the pulldown "Hi-Fi Berry DAC+ HD" proper for
the 'DAC2
These Bluetooth features are great. I could use my smartphone as a
player and that is so cool. It gave me an idea :
Imagine a party. PCP is playing some music on the speakers. I'd like
friends to easily connect their phones to the PCP through Bluetooth, and
then play their own tunes, whenever the

Hi mll,
I think, if you are using a RPi4 then you need to change the 4th option
in "ALSA setting" from a 1 to a 0.
This turn mmap off.
Hope that fixes the problem.

So I took the plunge and ordered a RPi. First thing I did was install
PiCorePlayer.
But upon hitting the play button on the classic web interface, it
pretends the tracks plays, but actually no sound gets out of the
plugged-in earphones|self-powered speakers. On Jivelite, the pause
button shows (a
hi dborn,

Hi all,
Apologies if this has been discussed already or if it belongs in the LMS
forum (I haven't found any discussions about it yet).
I've just built myself a piCorePlayer using an rPi4, 2GB and a Hifiberry
DAC+ to replace a Squeezebox Classic with ailing analog output.

So the FLIRC case came today. I got out the dremel and so far so good. I
need to find something to make a ring out of to go under the edge of the
Pirate board. Other than that, not a bad fit.

So far I've made one out of acrylic. Not beautiful, but I haven't found
anything else for sale. FLIRC makes a nice little case that maybe able
to be modified with some extra plastic or something. I made one out of
black walnut and white oak for a zero and a HiFiBerry DAC, but making

To try and explain better, it seems if i go from 24 bit to 24 bit, 192k
theres no audio, but to a like an mp3 to 24/192 its ok.

So i can get it to play 24/192 but even during same session it tends to
be no audio. I have to toggle the sound card to various things to get
it work again. Other bitrates play ok. Using ethernet or wifi, doesn't
matter. It seems like its not switching to the right output

Just implemented a Pi Zero W / Pimoroni Line Out combo.
I didn't need the Jivelite functionality as I went for this as an
improvement to the sound quality from an old Joggler. Still using the
Joggler to control the playback.
Ordered another pair for elsewhere.
Great stuff.

You would only have a controller for a player not a player.
But the experience is great and you can save as a standalone Webapp on
the iPhone, so you have the look and feel of a real app. It is running
in fullscreen then.
However, I think this request was for a player rather than (or as well
as) a controller.
Until someone does Slimproto (etc) in JavaScript it would mean
connecting to stream.mp3 from a different browser/player

A slightly different approach is to use the Material Skin LMS plugin and
then access it via your normal browser. It's a very good user
experience, although I'm not sure if it would cover all the features of
