Yeah, it probably needs a bit of a rewrite.
Setup instructions are now completely wrong.
Setup was rewritten for pCP7.0.0 with wifi now leveraging code from pCP
GUI.
I have a feeling "setup" is not used very often, nobody has commented on
it for years.
Thanks for bringing into focus.
Just in passing, IÂve found page
https://docs.picoreplayer.org/how-to/setup_wifi_on_pcp_without_ethernet/
quite confusing.

Meanwhile, the LMS is using almost 800 M of memory. The process is
holding a total 696 of open file handles, of which 20 are sockets, 12
are files in /mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce/slimserver/Cache/ and 656 are files in
/tmp/. All these files do actually exist, and all existing temp files

Hi mamema,
yes you're right, but to install and configure portainer you must also
use the SSH login. If you can do that it's easy to install the LMS
container. The basic idea was to make it as simple as possible that
means only to click and install and define the three folders with the

I used it too, but after the Release of "Raspberry Pi Imager" I don't
know why to use another tool. There you can directly choose the standard
Raspberry OS or a few others like LibreELEC and so on or you can choose
an image. I don't need any other

Tried that too and it still won't work. At this point I'll just see if I
can get the board replaced.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
On the latest picoreplayer version with the latest pcp_shairport-sync I
encounter an issue with the service propagation for Airplay:
Right after startup shairport-sync propagates to my iPhone (iOs 14.4). I
can play music a desired.
Then after a while shairport-sync vanishes and does not show up

If you are running Material, it has "Shutdown" and "Restart" options
when you're in Server Settings - Click the three dots on the top right
of the screen.

A dumb question - how do I stop LMS on the Pi? I can't find the control
panel that I'd use in Windows to do this, and I'd rather not just
terminate the process. I am trying to copy an old copy
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs over and it seems prudent to stop LMS
first.
