This bit is rather strange. The --nostop option makes a rules file that
does not have a rule for when the DAC is
When I run the script with --nostop I get quite different results.
When I stop the dac the sqlite stays listed on material / apps
the pcp web says not running

Hi,
Thanks for your help, unfortunately there's no change. It doesn't

In the file /home/tc/SQLITE-control.sh, make the two changes highlighted

this is the cause of the problem, but it's a loophole that should be
I tried the close output setting on the squeezelite settings page, but

I can't understand this behaviour at all. There's nothing in the
'restart' part of the script that relies on
When I boot with dac off sqlite does not start.
When I then turn on the dac sqlite still does not start.
When I then restart sqlite from command line sqlite starts.

That is an often heard misunderstanding of a NAS. It is totally
uninteresting which filesystem the NAS uses internally. It can be
anything.
Externally the NAS normally uses SMB which is a defined protocol for
giving

Look at the last line of your screenshot: "Mounting network drives

A little bit above on the page you can find the part: "Install and
Enable additional File Systems". There you have to press the first

Hello,
I recently installed piCorePlayer LMS and it works fine. Thanks.
I would like to Mount Remote Network Share (listen the music stored on
my NAS Synology with pCP LMS) but it's impossible to edit something :

Hi,
Starting from a playing sqlite.

I'm not sure. A few things you can try, to help understand what's
Hi, I installed the script from post 183. it seems to have installed ok,
it finds my M6 dac and shuts squeezelite down as expected.
Unfortunately it doesn't restart squeezelite when I turn on the dac.
This is on a fresh install of pcp 7.0.0.
Where am I going wrong?

I assumed they were needed at boot, but that's because I'm a bit out of
my depth here! I didn't think of using a separate extension - would
those files be available at the right time?
Thanks for
Do you really need them in the initrd? Why not just put them in an
extension.
But to answer your question, the initrd is a gzipped cpio archive.
Create you directory structure in a temp directory. i.e.
/tmp/myinitrd/lib/modules/.
Then change to /tmp/myinitrd

although it now seems to be unavailable), and it has a built-in RTC,
which may prove useful for a

Michael,
I think post #13 in this thread is also spam - it contains a link to
