Thank your for your reply. You confirmed what I was suspecting. So it appears to be yet another Pi-issue. I still have a Pi Zero lying around. As soon as I find the time, I'll try that one, to see if the built-in Wifi has to same problem.

Thanks for the tips. I'l try to work with the options on the tweaks page. BTW, pin 5 is already in use by the Hifiberry board, but it might be possible to use it also for the shutdown. I'll just have to try. After all what could go wrong:rolleyes::rolleyes:
