Hello,
My name is Elmar.
I was successfully running a piCore based Allo Boss2 w/ Tidal until
today after I've swapped the SD Card to try out Moode.
Going back to the PiCore OS no sound is coming from the Boss2 that I've
attatched to the analog-in of my RME ADI-2 pre/dac.
I'm deeply desperate
Hello everybody,
Until yesterday TIDAL worked fine on my piCore 7.0.1 based ALLO BOSS2
Player. Today TIDAL plays only 4 sec silently of each track and skips to
the last track. Radio Paradise and streaming from my harddrive attached
to the BOSS2 works fine.
Can anybody help me out please? What

@ Greg Erskine & @v2k : Thanks for your replies, though I don't
completely understand your explanations. I think I have to dive deeper
for better understanding.
May I raise two topics and beg your expertise?
1) With the Allo Boss2 Player comes the Nirvana power supply with the

Access to music library on my old Synology NAS with
'smb://admin@10.0.0.100/musik/' without any problem.
I tried 'smb://tc@10.0.0.12/Elmar' or 'smb://tc@10.0.0.12/mnt/Elmar' or
'smb://tc@10.0.0.12/Elmar/Musik' or 'smb://tc@pcp.local/Elmar' and many
variations without success

Could you post a link to the new thread you like to start?

Now I think I know what the problem is. I formatted a USB stick with
FAT32 (instead of ext4) and copied some music files on it. All files
were found and streamed with no problem. Music files

Do I need to download and install some
Installing exFAT didn't help either. All directories remain empty.
LMS Server Cache and Preferences remain on the pCP boot disk, right?
Some hours ago i moved cache and preferences to the USB disc with the
consequence that LMS stops running and remains inactive.

That's what i did. No files found, as you can see below. To copy one
album from my old library to my new library on
7) This is a screenshot, showing LMS installed on piCorePlayer:
The Boss2 is streaming music from the old NAS (LMS 7.7.X) perfectly.
But how can I get the piCorePlayer have access to my new music library
on my new SSD. For testing there is only on FLAC on the SSD @
/sda1/Musik
6) This is what /mnt contains on piCorePlayer:

First a word to my new SSD:

Does not help.
Some thoughts:
1) no static IP on my piCorePlayer
2) SSD disk drive (2tb - Western Digital) - ext4-formatted on my
Ubuntu-based Laptop, then attached

Hello,
Can anybody help me with two problems?
1) Starting Samba on the piCorePlayer 7.0.0 (installed on the Allo Boss2
Player) fails. Can anybody help me with the settings?
2) Adding an SSD drive to the Boss2 and moving the LMS from piCorePlayer
to the SSD is working only, when 'LMS Server

Hi,
Found a solution: Had to set 'Unmute ALSA control' to 'Master' in the
'Squeezelite settings'.
Another question: How do I activate the OLED on the Boss2 Player.
Anyones

Why is the Allo Boss2 Player not detected? When turning up the volume on
my amp music comes from the speakers, but very very quiet.

Checking for boot files on mmcblk0p1...

Hello,
I've purchased and already received the Allo Boss2 Player. Hooked it up
to my network and selected 'Analog Audio' as Output in the 'Audio output
device settings'. It streams perfectly from my NAS gives out the output
via headphone jacket. When selecting 'Allo Boss2 DAC' in the 'Audio
