I would just like to say thanks guys. Great job! I installed Beta 6 on
my RPI4 and it runs perfectly. I am using an aluminium heat-sink case
and it runs at around 46C, although I am under-clocking it.

Depending on where you got your board from, it may not have the latest
firmware. I just checked, and RPI has moved the VLI chipset update to
critical status.

The pCP image does not have a 64bit kernel for the pi3B+. I don't plan

Tested the same image on an rpi and it worked. But i noticed that the IP
only showed up in the router for 2 seconds and then dissapeared.

There i put in a fixed ip adress and booted the USBridge. Now i can

Pi4 4Gb. Beta5 works fine with usb xmos devices and digi spdif hat.
Tested 64bit version too. Tested LMS within pi4. Everything works ok.
In fact all works flawlessly.

in Windows (10) file explorer i made a file netusb on the boot partition
pcp-boot on the sd card.
No extension. so it is simular to the ssh file for example that is
allready on the sd card.
No luck.
At a normal boot it shows up as a client in my router. Now it does not.
The USBrideSig doesnt have a standard network or USB driver, it uses a
special driver that is in the netusb package.
Make an empty file called netusb on the boot drive, and you should be
fine.

I downloaded the beta images yesterday and both versions did not work on
the USBridge signature.
In the router no ip adress came up. So i guess the lan driver did not
work or could it be that the images i downloaded have still the
partition problem mentioned above?

I just got home from a week traveling. I confirmed the problem was in
the way the images are built. I would suspect that the latest Raspbian
image will no longer work either. Something to do with partitions. I
reverted to using fdisk and that solved the problem. I'll get an
updated
Trying latest beta on pi4 4gb. Somehow it stucks at expand sd card. Both
red and green leds of pi light up and stays there forever.

I tried to install the 6.0.0b5 on a USB Stick (The stick boots with
raspian), but the PiCorePlayer was not booting.
Then I used version 5.0.0 and it was booting using the USB stick, YEAH!

If I reboot picoreplayer, it no longer finds my hard disk connected. I
disconnect, reconnect the DD, nothing happens.
To succeed, I changed DD, this one was recognized. I handed over the DD

It's a power issue - I was overloading the Pi PSU by trying to power an
external HD via USB. I couldn't get WiFi to work by editing the
wpa_supplicant.conf file either - but on disconnecting the USB HD it's
again working fine. I'll go back to storing my music on couple of thumb
drives for now.
Hmm, I'm getting exactly the same error with piCorePlayer 5.00. I didn't
