Thanks probedb,
I think the difference is just a fact that the RPI and SB3 are
completely different pieces of hardware with difference gain.
Check that the volume has been set to 100% on the piCorePlayer (it
probably is) by using alsamixer via the console or ssh.
hello All,
I have a shiny new JBL BT speaker, which works fine on my Ubuntu 14.04
desktop, but is not recognized by Squeezelite:
gian@Think-GLS:~$ squeezelite -l

PulseAudio sound server

Hi Triode,
I find that my CIFS share is never remounted after a reboot (I always
have to click the remount button in the SoA web interface). Do you know
why this is?

These entries are written to /etc/resolv.conf by the arch linux network
services - controlled by netctl. All I am doing is editing the
configuration file for the interface - e.g /etc/netctl/eth0. Doing
interface updown then does netctl stop, netctl start for the interface.
FWIW, I experienced a similar issue to Ralphy on my manually installed
PogoPlug. I tried to set a static IP from the web interface and used
the web interface to restart the network. Really slow response then,
and also found 2 DHCP addresses assigned. Went back to one of the DHCP
and worked

Hi muggo,
I am not ignoring you, I just can't offer any help at the moment.
Hopefully someone can step in and help!
Failing that, it may be worthwhile asking at the Pink Fish Media forum,
the DIY section. I know there are guys there playing with RasPi,

Mainly because it offers all we need as a player only solution with a
usb dac. Its got a real usb implementation which is much better than
the Pi and also has more cpu power. It can run squeezelite and
jivelite fine on its single core (which can be a stress for a Pi).
Muggo, is there any reason you feel you need to upgrade from the
HifiBerry? Since it supports 24/192 anyways? DACs are pretty much the
same these days, the more expensive ones are just for people with more
money who like pretty things ;) Also...
