Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Wireless access point on piCorePlayer?
Alright, I have something that is a bit easier to installDepending on how testing goes, we should be able to integrate this into the web interface. INSTALLATION - Go to the extension browser from the main menu. - Select piCorePlayer Sourceforge Repository - Find and Select pcp-apmode.tcz and the press the Load button - Run Backup from the main menu to backup setting changes that occurred during load. That's it, after it loads successfully, goto the wifi page and make sure that you have not disabled the rpi3 wireless chip. Then reboot. USE - Default IP address of the wifi interface is 10.10.10.1 - Default SSID is pCP - Default passphrase is piCorePlayer - Default Channel is 7 - If the ethernet cable is plugged in, then pCP will act as a DNAT router. REMOVE - start an ssh session. - tce-audit builddb - tce-audit delete pcp-apmode - Would also be good to remove the line in /opt/bootlocal.sh that runs pcp-apmode ---UNDER THE HOOD- - When pcp-apmode.tcz loads, it will automatically load all of it's dependencies, including hostapd, dnsmasq, iptables. It will also inject a startup command into /opt/bootlocal.sh - config files are at /usr/local/etc/pcp/hostapd.conf and /usr/local/etc/pcp/dnsmasq.conf paul-'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108341 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce piCorePlayer 3.20
Hi stereoptic. If the forth row on [Main] page says "[Install] Install FFMpeg libraries for Squeezelite" then it has NOT been installed. If it says "[Remove] Remove FFMpeg libraries for Squeezelite" then the libraries have been installed. regards Greg Greg Erskine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7403 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107352 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

What is the first configuration change you try to make? Can you take a screen shot just before you hit the submit/set button? I would suspect a bad SD card. paul-'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105997 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Experimental: Bluetooth Speaker support in piCorePlayer 3.22
squeezeGoose, Seems I missed a step for you edit /opt/.filetool.lst and add /var/lib/bluetooth at the end.(I've updated the OP) Then repair your speaker. Ignore the dbus error. The bus takes a bit to start and sometimes the script tries before it's complete. But the script does keep trying. The () after the error message is actually the success. (I probably should have a better message printed :) paul-'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108037 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Hi I tried this option but while adding a new -o in etc/default/sequeezelite, the -o default persists. How can I get rid of it? I reformatted a larger card (64GB as opposed to the 16GB. I didn't have anything smaller lying around.) and did a fresh install of 3.22. I changed the Audio to HMDI, and uploaded jivelite. Everything seems to be working fine right now! Fingers crossed! I don't know how any of that would make a difference. I did do the regular update for squeezelite extensions, I did not do the full update. I've done so many trial and errors, I am not sure if I installed the FFMpeg libraries. Where do I look to verify? I think that I am fine with my LMS server (Macmini) transcoding the ALAC files, and I do not have any WMA files so I might be better off not loading the FFMpeg library. One thing that Ididn't check yet is to see how it behaves when I synchronize with the Touch or Boom I also purchased a 3.0 5V supply, but I am not sure if that has made a difference. There may be a problem with the USB power connection because it seems quite delicate when I plug in the cable, the lightning bolt flashes momentarily when I move the screen. Thanks for keeping up with me, it is much appreciated! stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107352 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
