Sorry, I am not familiar with the widget. It appears that this version
of squeezelite supports the -P option, so it may
That's great, thanks. I will get a shopping list together.

It's not a huge problem if it is not easily doable. What methods do
others use to transfer files to attached storage? I guess I could copy
new files across the network.

At some stage over the next year I am going to have to consider
lol because you can.
I would never trust one of those cheap Chinese knockoff tablets.

Hi
Apologies if this the wrong thread. I have been using LMS for a number
of years, initially based on Windows Home Server (both varieties) and
now for a few years on Windows 10. I am strongly considering an LMS unit
using piCorePlayer as a dedicated server. I have a relatively decent

Wouldn't a cheap tablet do a better job if you only want a browser?
I personally only know of iPads which are too expensive, but aren't
there a million much cheaper options now a days.

Indeed, should have RTFM. It's not just giving Termux permission to use
the storage, you need to run a command as well:

There are a few Firefox tweaks to get rid of the url bar and tabs. I
have upgraded versions of Firefox built that perform better, but not
good enough for me.
A rpi4 is probably going to work much better.

I've only ever needed to do that myself.
Have a look in "Config.txt" they are a few options in there that may
help especially one that says
Code:
# For Jivelite use with HDMI screens
# Comment out the lines
thanks, tried that and no difference

That works pretty well!
But I have 2 questions:
1. is there anywhere/anyway that the filesystem in termux intersects
with the one of Android? That would make it easier to transfer some
files back and forth.
2. when I run squeezelite as a 'task', and then exit the task,
squeezelite keeps

Install the graphics-KERNEL extension from the pCP repo.

HDMI 1920x1080 screen
it gets as far as the PcP logo that pops up as jivelite launches but
Jivelite never appears.
I've also tried the same hardware with PcP 7 and it works fine
is there a step i'm missing or is
Run your LMS server on the pi4, and keep your older pi as a player.

The older pi boards sdcard slots were not very fast. The newest boards
are faster, but dont think speeds even task a good class 10 card.
Putting your LMS data on the card works fine, but if you dont power
down your system, can lead to corrupt cards. A 3rd partition would
prevent boot

Concerning rights: do note that on EXT file system users are not known
by name but by their ID which is not unique across systems as Linux
typically assigns these in order of creation. i.e. if your
`squeezeboxserver` user has ID 107 on your original system and on PcP it
has 105 then on PcP it
