I followed your recommendations: "Hook the player up to a ethernet connection and then also enable AP mode". Unfortunately this did not help. The connection time is still 45-50 seconds. I don't use an iPhone. I use Samsung and Xiaomi smartphones, Huawei tablet, Lenovo laptop. Raspberry Pi3B and Pi3B+. Always the connection time after turning on the Raspberry is 45-50 seconds. Then, if disconnected, and reconnect, then 5-10 seconds. I meant that - in NO WAP on piCorePlayer: the Raspberry Pi connects to the smartphone in 10-15 seconds. - in WAP on piCorePlayer: the smartphone connects to the Raspberry Pi in 45-50 seconds. Hi! After turning on Raspberry Pi3B ... In normal mode, the connection time with the smartphone is 10-15 seconds. Through Access Point, the connection time with the smartphone is 45-50 seconds.
