We sell the case separately and ship the template and pin strip for
soldering with it, you just have to tell us which template you want.
However, you can find both 'documentation on the assembly'
(https://www.max2play.com/en/wiki/7-touch-screen-connect-the-gpio/) and
'the templates themselves'

Yep, the assembly kit version allows you to use the Digi+ board. We ship

Sure, the 'new case'
and the 'old case'
are both also available separately.
Can we buy the case without anything else?

Oh, I didn't realize the GPIO wasn't used for anything other than power.
That would work.

I started building mine and I have the Hifiberry Digi+. The problem is
the Digi+ uses the whole GPIO. Is there a solution where I can still
add the four wires necessary for the 7" LCD, or do I have to strip the
ends and solder them to the nubs the Digi+ presents?
I was hoping this case from the PiHut would work with the HiFiBerry but
it's a little to shallow so strapped a USB DAC to the back instead :D

I wish he made the Raspberry Pi a little more recessed into the middle
so there would at least be the possibility of hiding the cables. With
the location of the Pi, there is no chance to avoid a couple cables from
protruding.

I have the Pimoroni mentioned here as well. It's a nice piece, but the
legs on the Pimoroni block some access. I found this to be better as far

The OP says that he has both a Pi and a DAC. The max2play info is
somewhat sketchy as far as the DAC fitting in propperly, e.g. I don't
see any

Well, FWIW, I've been using the Newegg one for a week and it seems
stable.

IIRC, the Max2Play Website (shop.max2play.com) sells one but it's quite
pricey.

I've searched around, but haven't found an acceptable case that will
house the 7" touchscreen. I have 3 shields (Screen controller, Raspberry
pi, HiFiBerry DAC) so I need about 2" (50mm) depth at a minimum.

That's just what I'm looking for.
But, you weren't kidding that it's pricey. I'll keep this in mind if I
can't find anything else, or maybe I'll see if I can slap something
together myself.
This may be an alternative.
