PeopleSoft Developer is responsible for designing, documenting, building,
unit testing and supporting code, configuration, and programs for
PeopleSoft HCM for the project and in production. The PeopleSoft HCM
Developer will successfully realize technical solutions, provide
outstanding support for all phases of the project, and collaborate and
support other project team members as required for a successful launch of
the new system-wide implementation.

   - Design, implement, and support technical solutions supporting the new
   PeopleSoft HCM system based on input gathered from a variety of sources
   including Business Systems Analysts, locations, analysis results and
   industry best practices. Provide alternatives to customizations based on
   best practices.
   - Initiates and recommends changes in development, maintenance and
   system standards. Understands industry practices and department policies
   and procedures relating to work assignments. Ensures that System
   Development Life Cycle and change management procedures are followed and
   documented to support each system development and change requests.
   - Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents,
   functional and technical designs, and code.
   - Applies advanced applications programming concepts in designing,
   developing, modifying, debugging, and evaluating highly complex conversion
   programs
   - Develop and maintain interfaces and batch control scripts for the
   PeopleSoft HCM system and supporting processes; develop scripts to support
   optimal operation of the systems.
   - Create migration packages and develop scripts for data and
   configuration to be migrated across instances.
   - Provide technical PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM subject matter expertise and
   leadership to the team. Collaborates with other staff on complex technical
   issues and provides alternative solutions.
   - Be a knowledgeable resource to mentor others less experienced in
   application development and production operations.
   - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. May lead a team
   of software development professionals. Enforces project plans. Provide
   support as needed to other project areas.
   - Provides second-level operational support as needed.


*Requirements:*

   - Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 software development and have
   a minimum of 7 yrs experience in PeopleSoft HCM, including extensive work
   experience on at least 1 large-scale system implementation project
   involving large numbers of users and multiple locations.
   - Advanced experience designing and developing solutions in TAMS and
   ePerformance required.
   - Advanced experience designing and developing solutions for PeopleSoft
   HCM applications -- HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Commitment
   Accounting, and Absence Management -- and associated self-service
   applications, including deep experience and understanding of the PeopleSoft
   HCM data model.
   - Experience with configuration strategy preparation (migration,
   procedures & practices, determining automated and manual methods etc).
   - Advanced experience with supporting PeopleSoft HCM in a large-scale
   production environment.
   - Development Tools and Skill Set Experience:
  - Experience authoring technical design specifications and test plans
  - PeopleSoft development tools, languages, and integration

Duties
· Work as a Senior PeopleSoft HCM developer on the Payroll/Time &
Labor, Phase 2 project.
· Produce technical design specs for customizations, interfaces,
reports, data conversion and workflow.
· Code and unit test programs using PeopleTools, including but not
limited to App Designer, App Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Integration Broker,
SQL, etc.
· Provide technical support during system testing, integration
testing and user acceptance testing,
· Troubleshoot system defects and resolve issues.
· Provide technical support during go-live cutover.

Required:
· Demonstrated expertise in using PeopleTools, including but not
limited to App Designer, App Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Integration Broker,
SQL, etc.
· Over 10 years of PeopleSoft HCM application design, development,
and testing experience
· Over 10 years of PeopleSoft HCM experience in NA Payroll and Time
& Labor modules, including T security and rules
· Demonstrated recent experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade
project
· Demonstrated expertise working as an independent thinker and
problem solver with extensive experience in technical troubleshooting and
problem resolution in batch programs, online PeopleCode and application
packages
· Demonstrated expertise working in a wide range of assignments and
must be able to work with functional Specification documents that are not
thorough and assisting to solve failed services and configuration setups
· Excellent communication skills preferred
