Hi David,
Even with complex shapes, it’s pretty easy (once you have a template version)
just to clone it, and then place it appropriately (and obviously that can be
based on its centre, or, as you say, the edges of its rectangle). The maths
shouldn’t be that hard (& I speak as someone who hates

I've seen clipping of graphic effects when the object with the effect is in a

The technique I use is I have an image dump card and put all my large images on
there. I then scale them smaller (with resizequality set to best) and lock them
to prevent them resizing back to full size. If you now use imagesource items in
a field to refer to those images, the field version disp

Anyone got any idea how to make this work? Is there a way to mix "lock screen"
with "show" that works correctly? I've got this sort of animation all over in
this app, and this change to the way lockscreen works completely messes all
that up.

I reported this as a bug to Rev in version 4.something. They acknowledged it
but it's still listed as an open bug report in the quality centre. I hope they
fix it soon (or someone knows a way around it).

The same thing happens to me with one of my OS X apps. LiveCode always produces
a zero length icns file for that app. I've never been able to track it down. I
always end up manually replacing the dud Standalone.icns with a working version
that I keep handy.

Hi folks,
Does anyone have any simple-ish examples of using UITextFields and UITextViews
in LiveCode iOS apps that they're willing to share? I'm a bit lost without some
actual examples to pick apart.
Thanks
