Can anyone point me to them?

Hi Tiemo and all,
It seems like many of us do not know the Rev Search engine (Rev 2.7
or later) you can access by clicking on the last tab in Rev help.
And I don't say that only because I wrote it ;-)
In Tiemo case:
1. Bring up the Search engine.
2. Select 'Web Database' pane in the tool
Eric,
I just tried the Search Engine you mentioned. There appears to be a
very serious flaw to the Search engine - causing Revolution to
unexpectedly quit and probably doing other damage as well, since my
only recourse was to reboot. Even the dock was unresponsive. If I

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the report.
Same Rev and same OS here but not Intel and no problem.
Could you be more specific: did you get the color dialog or not ie

Have you tried the answer color command that might fail with Intel

I am using Rev 2.8.1 on OS 10.4.9 with an Intel Mac Dual Core.

Well, I don't know why, but this time there was no problem. First I

I'll try it again from time to time; though perhaps calling it from

Hello
Exploring Revolution...here is my first question that I did not find readily

Illustrator files that are layered. I want to create a coloring book...each

It sounds like a proxy server issue. Richard, libURL does have support

Hi Phil,
I've just completed a coloring book using Rev. The original artwork
for it was actually drawn on paper. At some point the sketches were
scanned and eventually after going through a number of metamorphoses
ended up as jpgs. But I also cleaned up some of them with a drawing

I am a bit confused here. I thought it was possible to use Vector files in

Hello.
I'm not entirely sure how one would go about working with layered
vector graphics in Revolution. The claim to Vector graphics is
referring to graphic objects created in revolution - You can custom
draw lines and shapes, but it's nowhere near as powerful as a *real*
vector graphic.
I think Brent explained things pretty much as I understand them as
well; but I haven't found the resolution of the jpgs objectionable,
even when printed out. Of course, I actually wanted the appearance to
be somewhat crude as with hand drawn pictures. Your requirements may
be more acute,

I've been a MacDraft user since 1988. It can export in a few formats,
but the only one that it saves or exports that directly imports into
Rev is Enhanced PICT Export from MacDraft and that's a bitmap
graphic, not vector.
On import Rev will ask if you want to import as a PNG (cross

Me too, Stephen; maybe even a year or so earlier; but I keep an OS 9

have dumped with their OSX version; however, they are all - as you

Roger,
Just because your proxy prefs are set _for your browser_ does not mean
Rev can use them. Yes, you are correct, your admin won't want to
create umpteen hundred 'pin pricks,' but it is a solution for 'single
ip address' type issues.
