This is a show stopper for me as the only reason I need to purchase Rev 3.0.0
is for the need to access more than 9 serial com ports , a previous bug in

Difference is the PASSWORD is not set in the standalone settings in

I do not password the stack script in IDE only the .exe build.

Are we sure it's nothing to do with Rev 3.0.0 builder , they have sneeked in a
warning answer screen informing the user its a trial version ?
This is not in the Rev 2.8.2 Builder !?

I guess you are right. I just now tried to duplicate the issue by removing the

Just revisting , as I have tried everything now.
I had to use the StandaloneSettings.rev from 2.8.1 and place it into Rev 3.0.0
I can then build as password protected stack with an Answer Dialog in Rev 3.0.0
Using the StandaloneSettings.rev supplied with Rev 3.0.0 it fails to build.

I see that when the build fails it adds two stacks answer dialog and

I set the destroyStack for temp answer dialog in standalone setings.

Sorry , we can all make mistakes , I missed the ANSWER bit !
The problem ONLY happens when ANSWER is used in the script AND a password is
set in the Standalone settings.

Hi Camm,
we are still missing some information.
Wat exactly happens and how does it happen? Does the IDE throw an
error in the build process? If so, what is the error?
Does an executable get created? If so, can we see that?
Does the exe crash on launch? Does the executable launch, but halt?

Hi,
So, you made a Standalone with no Password set in Standalone settings
that uses the Answer Dialog? If so, it looks like the culprit is the

Also if you could just write your own

Preisliste/Preisliste.rev is already in memory. The Revolution
UI does not distinguish stacks which have identical names, so editing these
stack files while both are in memory could result ind data loss.

You have defined a password in the standalone settings. If I also set
