Hi, The startup script for the server will go wherever you specify during configuration prior to build and install. For example, this will put the startup script in /etc/init.d: ./configure --with-init-dir=/etc/init.d I believe the guacd executable typically goes into /usr/local/sbin by

Have done a few test installs for different scenarios and it suddenly occurred to me I hadn't actually seen a recommendation or explicit directive as to where the server should be installed to...is there any best practice for this?   /etc/guacamole /home/user/guacamole-server is it OS
