Hi Michael,
Can you change the hadoop version from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 and then try, Most
probably this is due to missing shaded classes in the 3.3.2 version from
the hadoop-client jar.

Hey,
Looks like issues with the Datanodes. The block placement policy isn’t able to
get 3 datanodes with available DISK space. Give a check to your Cluster
datanodes state, types of storages, space in DISK and related stuff.
Try enabling debug logs, you might see logs like Datanode X is not
Not sure how hbase or pheonix handle stuff, but do you see the directory/file
deleted in HDFS, can check if the file you are deleting is getting deleted, i.e
It exists before and once you execute your stuff it isn’t there,
Are HDFS Snapshots enabled? Not on the directory but any of its parent

Hi Kamaraj,
If you are trying to setup an HA cluster, you need couple of more configs

Hi Debraj,
There is a command in haadmin -getAllServiceState, You can use that.
Can read this for details :
https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/current/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-hdfs/HDFSCommands.html#haadmin
In the namenode UI also you can see the state of the namenode.

Hi Kevin,
It is possible to have multiple Namenodes in a HA setup. One Active Namenode
and multiple Standby Namenodes.
The Active Namenodes serves all the requests.
In case of failure of Active Namenode, one of the standby takes up its place
and acts as Active to serve the requests there
Try giving the name as org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.TestWriteRead
With package name
