Try la in place of osgi:list :)
You will see a large set of bundles.

Hi,
I am wondering why there are so many services (osgi:ls) but no bundles
(osgi:list) when I start to use Karaf after installing it? There should be
many bundles providing these services?

Every bundle installed under a specific startup level wont show up -- not only
the pre-installed bundles, but you can also make your bundles invisible by
setting the startup level under the treshhold (or increase the threshhold) :).

btw, the shortcut for osgi:list -t 0 is la

kind regards,
andreas

I guess that its because of the default bundle threshold.

In Karaf 2.1.x the preinstalled bundles do not show up with osgi:list.
If you wish to list them, then you need to specify 0 thresold:
osgi:list -t 0.
