One quick question, when i changed some parameters in the ldap.cfg config
file, should i restart openmeeting ?
/etc/init.d/red5-ubdeb2 restart

I guess no-one can login to your LDAP using following DN:
*ldap_userdn_format=uid=%s,OU=Company,DC=medint,DC=local*
*%s *will be changed with user provided login
Are you sure you need "SIMPLEBIND"?
In this mode DN is constructed using pattern provided
Maybe you need SEARCHANDBIND so user will be
There is attribute in ldap config:

Hi there,
Is there a hidden parameter somewhere we can use to set de default country when
a user connected to OM and is create on the fly with LDAP/AD configuration.
I found the parameter < default_lang_id > and it's working perfectly.
Thank's in advance.
I found this : http://markmail.org/message/b6bscwyj6cy2xwvi
But i don't know how to make that active, wich script exactly ?

Hi there,
Parameters were updated,
there are more of them
there is no need to specify DN in "weird" format:
OU:Utilisateurs,DC:fadq,DC:qc
it should be specified as "normal" DN:
OU=Utilisateurs,DC=fadq,DC=qc
please grab example config and update it with your credentials

Sounds like a good plan :)

Hi
Additionally your config seems to be copied from OM 1.9 or so
I would suggest you to take example config and update it line by line with
your server, port, password, etc.

"sketchpad" provides zoom as part of the toolbar
and toolbar is more compact, this is what I like, current toolbar is too
big IMHO, i would add grouping to it or change it to be more compact

Maxim--which aspect of https://sketch.io/sketchpad/ are you saying we could
implement? I am confused.
Also, on the dropbox sketches provided by Dennis, I see two major changes:
1. Smaller toolbar (right side of screenshot) which I like.
2. Vertically aligned user's area (far left of screen).
I doubt
ldap_search_query=userPrincipalName
is a valid search query for LDAP
I can recommend you to set up LDAPExplorer and test all these parameters

This parameter is already in the ldap.cfg file
I think it read nothing in my LDAP/AD
I talk about COUNTRY in each user.
When they connected for the first time from LDAP/AD, they are created in the
OM db
There is a field COUNTRY, i wish this field is set by default to CANADA.
De : Maxim
I just check using « ldp » tool on our DC and i can see that :
co: Canada;
So, something is wrong elsewhere.

2) currently we have 2 different controls: "zoom" and "document navigator"
both old fashioned, both occupy too much space, here is the sketch by
Denis: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-1642 (attached to
issue)
I personally like it, it is minimalistic, it should be almost
