 Sure :)

You need to use room of type Presentation
better if it will have "moderated" flag set - since the rule "first
user is moderator" will not work in this case
In this case only users with moderator permission will have ability to
broadcast Audio/Video

Same for WB
As moderator you can grant/revoke rights according to your needs

Thank you Maxim. It was my lack of experience with web cam.
Can you please let me know if OpenMeeting conference room can be
configured with a selected user able broadcast webcamand rest of users only
able to see that designated user and not be ableto see others.
The same question about white board, white board will be writableby only a
specific user and rest of users only read the white board.is it doable in
OpenMeeting ?

Thanks

BTW have you tried our demo server https://om.alteametasoft.com/openmeetings ?
Is your issue reproducible on demo?

Re: Need help after initial installation

2018-10-18 Thread Maxim Solodovnik
Just to ensure: Are you using OM over HTTPS?
The question remain unanswered: which version of Om are you using?

JIRA is the bug tracking system for many Apache projects
you need to
1) go to [1]
2) register
3) Create issue :)

Re: Need help after initial installation

2018-10-18 Thread Blaxton
 Thank you Maxim,
2) I was able to create more users by clicking on save button.
1) now I logged in to public room from FireFox, IE and chromwith 3 different
users, FireFox is able to turn on the cameraand I am able to see myself on all
3 browsers but still there is
two blank window one for each of users that I logged in from
IE or Chrome. apparently if there is 30 users logged it to
the same room there will be 30 web cam window ?
I guess there should be a security setting that is blocking accessing camon
Chrome and IE and I have to look in to it but how can I
have on person broad cast and the rest only see me and notable to see each
other, kind of like a class room.
3) Sorry don't know how to file a JIRA, you mean I should create an issue in
github ?
I have another question that I forgot to ask:during the installation, OM was
not able to find soffice.bin, so I had to putthe full path :
/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/ and still didn't find the soffice.bin
then I put full path to soffice.bin :/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin
and worked.
As well can you please let me know how one user can share the white boardwith
rest of users, other users should be able to see the white boardbut they should
not be able to take the control of the white board untilthe user who has the
control pass the control to other user.
Thanks again.

3) this is only warning :) we are not processing external XML files,
so this shouldn't be very important, could you please file JIRA [1]
