People,
During the current release process we noticed that a lot of
potentially good fixes and enhancements don't seem to make the cut due
to lack of testing. We do want things to be tested before they go in,
but the effort it requires ATM is too high to keep up with the
valuable code contributed.
Rohit,
I don't mind if we have only one supported version for a while. It
will mean more focus on that version and the release process.
I have a few remarks though,
1. We have a feature release per LTS, so why not just do the feature
release in spring and start the maintenance branch in autumn. We

Hey Fernando,
No reactions either means no one is interested in the question, or the
more optimistic view is that no one else is using it. I don't but the
theory is that read-only users can see/list anything in their domain
and in any domain below theirs, including VMs, networks. and capacity
data.
Nilantha,
I don't think there is. As it is a lab env, you may try to hack it in
the DB but don't try this at home.

If you use passwords as opposed to certificates, you need to update
the password on the hosts and in cloudstack. The latter can be done in
the UI or with the updateHostPassword API

Can you search in your global settings for "disablethreshold" and see
if that might reduce your theoretical available storage to a too low
value? You should also be able to find a log message about refusing to
use a storage pool.

the maximum of PRs being merged. I have marked any PR that I think should
not be considered for 4.19.2 as part of milestone 4.19.3[1] right now,

Jithin has been a long time CloudStack contributor and has created
lots of issues on Github and tested PRs. Being a committe

general consensus that people want to have a new RC I will certainly make

LS,
As stated in [1] I want to call a freeze on the 4.19 branch this week. My
plan is still to create an RC by friday
the current state is ,
- 125 closed PRs -

- 39 open PRs and -

Brent,
Looks like you are doing the right thing. Did you restart all the
management servers after changing the port configurations?
Could you try another port as well?
est release, we stick back on the

VMs become dysfunctional if their storage has been inaccessible and become

hey fellow old fellow,
There used to be an IRC channel or two. but they were not very busy, as
slack is now. I think having more DM channels will water down interaction,
so I am not in favor of re-instating or adding channels. Not that I am
against this. I am in favour as I am very much in favour
isible to the VPC.

Ron,
I just replayed your scenario in a lab environment
*
create a vpc
*
create a tier
*
create a vm
*
aquire a public ip
*
create a portforwarding rule for the ip and add the vm to it
I've seen no strangeties. The only thing I can think of is the port range
overlapping with something
0 out
+ 5th of Februari a release
Let's get as many of the others fixed before then.
@users , please review the issues and comment
on those that have priority for you.
regards,

Azmir,
If the default roles do not allow your users to perform the tasks you want
them to be able to perform, you can create custom roles for them assigning
individual API permissions. You can base these roles on the existing ones
and then adjust according to your needs.
First create the new role

thanks Marc,
Could you add an issue to the github repo? Debian support is experimental,
but it does sound like this would not be specific to that platform. (needs
investigation)

Yes João, I would like to extend the voting window to halfway next week. Do
you mind? Not many of us will take an opportunity to test .

Mauro,
Have you seen this doc entry:
https://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/en/latest/adminguide/storage.html#setting-nfs-mount-options-on-the-storage-pool
It explains how you can set nfs options in version 4.19.1++
It sound like your solution is there.
