Hi,
Is there any way to copy the messages printed in the console opened for a
VM in a browser ?
I tried using the US Standard key pairs to copy but it didn't work.
Thanks.

Dear colleagues,
I'm using CloudStack with KVM for a year and a half, but, as I can see, some

Would anybody be so kind as to explain why XEN is better than KVM?
Thank you very much in advance!

All of the above. KVM is our leading hypervisor at the moment.

Andrei,
Is this a live production system with lots of customer VMs or just a test

Geoff, it's a live system with testing customers. It would be ideal to have
this done without much of a downtime. We can schedule a maintenance window over
a weekend if required.
Cheers

Hello guys,
We are planning to change our public IP range and I was hoping some could help
me with the procedure on how this could be done in ACS? I can't find a way to
do it from GUI, so perhaps there are API calls that I am not aware of.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi, excuse me dumb questions, what file do I configure to enable this

CONFIG_VIRTIO_BALLOON=yes
Centos 6.5 KVM
Thanks,
I was running a cloudstack bootcamp course last week and this very issue came
up as we had to use a new CIDR for the Public traffic.
Unfortunately the simple answer is that there is no official way of achieving
this, but it can be achieved via some database 'manipulation'
You first need to add
I use all three of them regularly, but I find Xen the easiest with

Geoff,
Many thanks.
I thought that it would not be easy, but it doesn't sound that bad. I've
previously changed the internal IPs using database changes, so it looks likes a
very similar procedure apart from the restart of the networks / VRs.
Thanks for the tip

I just saw your other email, found this (

be worth upgrading CS to the latest master? (or 4.3 forward?)

I had a similar situation deploying AD w/ DNS on our CloudStack build, having
to create a new type of network that can assign public IPs, get the vnet auto
linked to the public bridge, etc.
Basically had to create a shared network, then alter the database record for
the network, vlan, and nics.
Hi Andrija, did you resolve issue you were having with RAM and
over-provision? I'm having same issues. my cluster is a KVM, I have
CONFIG_VIRTIO_BALLOON=y
in /boot/config-'uname -r'
Thanks

No one owns it now. Parth has setup framework, developed and ran a few BVT
scripts. You can own it now and change and expand it bases on your expertise.
