Hi all!
I'm trying to monitoring CloudStack with Zabbix, anyone have some experience
with monitoring CS with Zabbix? Is there any plugin or documentation about
it? I have not found very much information.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Regards,
Javier
Hi!
I have exactly that here, works fine. As Praveen said, check your network
connectivity:
- VLAN, Trunk and possibly LACP settings on the switch
- correct traffic label on all hosts/pools (Names of the interfaces)
- follow your packets using tcpdump etc.

server by running proccess - proc.num[,cloud,,"cloudstack-usage"].
I would be glad too to know how people integrate Zabbix with CS.

Thanks for your help, Erik.
I'm able to deploy my own version of virtualrouters now :)
Anyway, I'm trying to modify the dnsmasq.conf / dnsmasq.conf.tmpl, which
seems to be impossible since some weird cloud* / init* / somewhat*
script cleans it up during the deployment process.
Could someone please
There's multiple parts involved.
You have the actual system vm template, the systemvm.iso, and remote ssh
functions.
I am a bit into deep water right now, but I *think* some of the scripts
used is located in the systemvm.iso, and it might be enough to change those.
Note that the systemvm.iso is co
Thanks anyway. I'll post my results if it works :)

Hi All,
I am trying to upload a template of 53GB into CloudStack. After completion of
upload am getting below error. How can I fix this issue?

Hi all,
I've got a few Windows machines which had block devices on an NFS share.
After migration to Ceph the disk performance is really bad.
The disk shows up as IDE in Windows (before and after). No virtio.
Any idea why it's that bad? Any drivers I need to change?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Choose "Windows PV" as the vm type/OS inside acs. Then you will have virtio
hardware inside vm. Make sure you install drivers (Google fedora virtio
drivers) inside Windows, before you switch to virtio "hardware"...

Edit the template from whicb VMs were created. Or edit the vm instance
directly - maybe that is possible cant remember right now...

Ok, thanks. It's at the template.
But changes there will effect new systems only.
How do I change my existing once?

I am not sure you can do it at all, because Windows (then again, I am hardly a
Windows expert).
How I would do it on a standalone libvirt/KVM running Windows on "IDE" drives,
is to add a secondary volume/disk of type VirtIO, Windows will ask for drivers
which I would provide, then power off the
1- Install virtio drivers inside Windows VM (at least: disc, network) (
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Windows_Virtio_Drivers )
2- shut down the VM
3- in CS go to instance -> edit -> OS Type -> Select "Windows PV" -> Apply
4- start up the VM

update / change the " max.template.iso.size "settings in the global
settings.
and dont forget to restart your management.

Hey everybody,
We have CloudStack nodes in the US as well as Europe and Asia. We're
discussing internally what the best way to approach this is; separate
islands with their own CloudStack management servers, or all talking to
one central management server.
I thought it would be prudent to po
I'm sorry Vladim,
i'm trying to do what you wrote but the XenConver allows only to convert a
running windows OS (just P2V).
Is there a particular version of XenConvert I gave to use??

If ssvm is reachable to NFS server then it can mount.
If you resolve connectivity issues between ssvm and NFS server then you are
good to go.
