Bonjour,

Here are my questions:

Hi Lally
Are you sure your dburl is correct?
I would rather think it would have to be
dburljdbc:mysql://dev.iddl.vt.edu:3306/vto/dburl
(The port part directly after the host.part, followed by the schema)

Hi,
I'm trying to set-up a cocooon installation on Dapper/Tomcat5/JDK1.6,
but I don't seem to be able to get it to work at all.
I first downloaded the 2.1.10 distro, which wouldn't compile at all
(because of enforced checks by Java 6). Although I was able to fix these

Hi Rinke,
seems like a Déjà-vus. Here the excerpt of an answer I sent yesterday to
this mailing-list:
we are fighting here with a web application on Tomcat 5.5/Debian
Sarge/Etch, too. Maybe on of these tips help:

Hi Florian,
Thanks, sorry, I read your posting only after I sent in my own... after
some hassle I've been able to install Java 5 on ubuntu (somehow it
wasn't included in my update-server packages list), and I will see
whether that will help solve my problems.
Do you know of any more
Do you know of any more structured information regarding the
combination cocoon/jdk6 ?
Sorry, no structured ones. But keep us informed if you dig some valuable
info up.
Perhaps, one more try: Did you try it with the bundled Jetty? I assume
it's a problem with the configuration of Tomcat on
Hi Florian,
Ok, I got version 2.1.10 running using your tips:
1) Switch off the java security manager (under ubuntu that's in
/etc/default/tomcat5)
2) Move to Java 5
many many thanks!
I guess we should stay away from jdk 1.6 for a while yet...
Best,
Rinke

Great :-)

Of course in my original posting I was thinking of *up*grading, not
*down*grading :-)
many many thanks!
I will mark this day in my pathfinder's calendar ;-)

Hello Ard,
You are correct, the attributes are been duplicated.
I have pinpointed my problem to my form model generation alone (the form
template generated is working perfectly)... using the LogTransformer i could
see that the attributes are been duplicated... a snippet of the log is:
