not sure if this has anything to do with it but i manually downloaded both the
flex & AIR SDK zip files into the installer cache. the nightly build (0.90) also
installed ok.

and nope, though failed at a different spot, AIR SDK download, got about 340mb
into the 440mb download.

Installer should download on windows zip from that page [1]. That zip
should match to md5 website.

folder "temp" in the location where you are downloading SDK. If it's there
check MD5 of that zip file.

I don't remember if the installer leaves the download around, but maybe
you can run your own MD5 on it and see if it matches the MD5 on our
distribution server [1]. Also check your installer.log to see which
mirror was used. Sometimes a mirror can get a bad copy.

No. Powershell is being used only for unzipping and downloading when we are
using ant on air.
Powershell command for checking MD5 is GET-FILEHASH "path to file"
-Algorithm MD5
