Hi :)
Do you get the same issues if you install the pre-compiled versions? Are the
.deb and .rpm's not viable for your machine?
Which OS are you running? Bsd, Slackware, Arch?

Tom :)

I keep saving my word doc in.doc and password protect it, and when I try to
open it, I can only do it in read-only format.
Any help?

There are two Export to PDF options available on menus. One is named
as shown. The other is Export Directly to PDF.
On my system, they both behave identically, there is no PDF creation
dialog, you simply export the entire document, and get the same filename
dialog..
Is there some configuration

Jay, you are correct. Creating a PDF from just a portion of a document
would be an enhancement to this feature. But, printing to a PDF printer
driver like CUPS-PDF, Cute PDF, etc. will provide the controls desired.

Hi,
Is there a straightforward way in Calc to calculate negative time values? By
default, this does not appear to be possible, e.g. 00:00:00 - 02:00:00 is
always 22:00:00, not -02:00:00.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for your answer.
Strange, I did exactly what you said and still have the same problem. All
fields are formatted as time HH:mm. Both with the standard formula
(=Cell1-Cell2) and using the TIME function (=TIME(0,0,0)-TIME(2,0,0) I get
22:00:00 as my output.
Best,
Rik

Hello:
I suggest you that copy the first page or sheet in a new document and
then export it to PDF. You can solve your current problem and then you
can solve your menu problem !
