It might be a good idea to upgrade to Fedora 15.
The Live Upgrade does it on the fly, and worked perfectly for me
at least.
I think you'll find that LibreOffice isn't in the Fedora14
repositories, which will be where your package maanger is looking,
but it is in the F15 ones.

Hi :)

I lose track of which is the latest version of most distros. I think Fedora is
quite a tough one for a first time into the world of GnuLinux but it is
definitely worth spending time getting to know well. I'm not sure what i would
recommend right now tbh. Ubuntu gets articles out
Using Fedora 15 here and loving it. I find only OpenOffice in F14 repositories
but LibreOffice from the website should work provided there are no conflicting
packages.
I'm using version 3.3.3 without problems so I'd suggest you migrate. Gnome3
isn't as bad as people say. After using it for
Hi :)
I don't think PDFedit really allows you to edit the text itself either?
Doesn't
it just let you move blocks of text around?

Hi :)
Ahah, I edit pictures and stuff in Pdfs using Gimp. Draw might do it and now
the official Draw documentation has been released i might be a bit more happy
about trying Draw. The problem with doing this using Gimp is that i can't save
as pdf from Gimp.

Derek,
There are a few programs I use a lot to do what you want to do
PDF-shuffler [1], pdfsam [2] and PDFtk [3].
PDF-shuffler is by far the easiest to use. PDF-Shuffler actually
renders each page for you and allows you to drag and drop the pages to
different locations in the file. It does
Hello,
My understanding is that the .odb file format is XML-based (?), so I
wondered if there was a way to do a daily dump of a remote PostreSQL
database to a .sql file (DDL and DML included), and then covert / export
/ iteratively read the SQL into an offline LibreOffice database (as XML?)?
