Hello, with Home i can move to the start of the current row.
How can i do the same thing with a column?
Even if i need to use several Shortcuts to achieve it, it wouldn't be
a problem: i could always record the series of shortcut as a new
Macro, and make a custom keyboard shortcut for this macro.

Hi,
I've got a calc spreadsheet, and I'm trying to sum data based on three
different criteria (data to sum in column J, criteria in columns A, H K.
I'm trying to work out the syntax for using the sumproduct function to be
able to do this, but I keep getting results of 0.
Anyone have any
Hi Thomas,
Not aware of a bug report yet for that wrt. 4.0 - would you be willing
to file a bug report with an example document at

Hi :)
Can you try reinstalling 3.6.5? Perhaps download the installer from the
LiberOffice website afresh. When you try to install it there should be an
option to Repair and that might let you add the Quickstarter component.
Then in LibreOffice itself go to

I have two Machines here both running the new PClinuxOS 2013.02 and LO 1.4.0
Previously I was on PCLOS 2012.07 and LO 1.3.6 and had a MySQL Database

I now can get neither machine to set-up a Database!!
The one fails to start httpd with the error - /

The LO Options for a Mac are in LO Preferences.
The Options differ too as there is no option to switch Quickstarter on or
off under the Memory option.
It may exist elsewhere, but I have never seen it.
BTW. I am running Mac 10.8.2 on an iMac and I have never experienced that
problem.

I don't know that you can. But Ctrl+up-arrow may help. If the cell

It would still be handy to have a shortcut to column start though...
I made a Macro that moves the current row up (and another one to go

Hi :)
Thanks Tink. Errr on other platforms the option only appears if you have
chosen the right option during install. Otherwise it doesn't appear at all,
which is a bit weird. Usually those sorts of things would be greyed-out rather
than absent.

Hello Ian,
Regarding the JDBC-connector:
download it from the MySQL homepage, un-tar it, then under LO go into
Options - Extended (Erweitert in the German version). There you add
a Java Runtime Environment and also specify the directory into which you
put the .jar-file of the connector in the

Hi :)
Yes, i vaguely remember someone saying it dated back to around 2.0. Hopefully
as the code becomes clearer and more streamlined then it might become easier to
trouble-shoot or even find problems just disappear as cruft gets cleared.
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

It's always best to ask the real question - not the small bit that
you think you need but might not!

Have you found the guides on

Didn't even know about this one. Have to admit that although I've had
35+ years in the software world (mostly in data base design, data
modeling, and quality assurance), when it comes to LibreOffice I'm just
a plain old user and don't know about everything that's out there!

To ensure a compete removal of an Application I use Clean My Mac

or you could try Amnesia

Both these search and remove associated files when you do an uninstall.
