I don't remember, but since I have had a problem with upgrading to the
last lts version, I have been unable to do any upgrades using Ubuntu, so
if I have upgraded since last July, it was not thru Ubuntu
But I use this sheet almost every day (business accounting). First ever

Well, on the "out of the box" fix. . . .
You can always Google for free replacement fonts for a specific font
family. I use to do that all the time. Just find a similar replacement
font and download/install it/them and you will be "safe".

what font in the document is not available on your system and it will be

the font is replaced by some other font. Don't you happen to know if LO
uses any rules according to which the replacement font is chosen? Or

We type in plain text in a new document in LW and save it as a .doc (Word 2003).
Then we exit LW and open Word 2003 or WordPerfect and then try to open
that .doc just created in LW but get the Read-Only message box.
