[libreoffice-users] Problems with line color in Writer
I have an older document that has worked well for years. It is a listing of Library book titles of authors that I am interested in. As I check out a book I use the line function to draw a line through the book title. The line (in a sense I am using it as an overstrike) has always been black. My pages now have several hundred book titles with lines drawn through them (and many more that are, as yet, unread and thus have no line). Recently when I opened the document, all of the lines have changed from black to a light blue color. I do not know why they have changed from black to blue. I know that I can change the line color back to black but, so far, I have only found how to do it one line at a time. Since there are hundreds of titles with lines drawn through them, it will take me weeks to return all of the drawn lines to black. Is there some way to convert *all* of the lines back to black in one easy process? jnr -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Problems-with-line-color-in-Writer-tp4070575.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
[libreoffice-users] Re: rounding off number results in Base
What I need to know first is whether this is occurring in a table of the database or in a form. If the latter, you may be able to correct the problem by editing the properties of the fields in the form. The fields in the form also contains number formatting. Dan, it is occurring in a table. The database has no forms. I have been using this database for over 10 years (but previously in OpenOffice). I was under the impression (perhaps wrongly) that a form wasn't needed if you were comfortable entering data directly into a table. When used in OpenOffice, the cost field always had the exact cost (two decimal places) but when used with LibreOffice, the cost filed is rounded off to .00 cents. I did not convert this database when I moved from OpenOffice to Libreoffice. I just opened the old file using LibreOffice Base. I assume you are telling me that the rounding is because I am opening and viewing the database in table view rather than form view? If so, is there a simple way to convert my entire database so that all info will display as forms? Or am I mis-interpreting your message? -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/rounding-off-number-results-in-Base-tp4056773p4057266.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
[libreoffice-users] rounding off number results in Base
I have LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 on a Windows 7 computer. I have an older database created originally with OpenOffice. The database is a household inventory including item description, brand name, serial number, date an item was purchased and its exact cost (among other fields). I have just noticed that in LibreOffice Base the program is rounding all costs to $.00). I cannot find a setting that is causing this unwanted rounding. When I look at the format of any cell that is involved, one item says that it will accept two digits past the decimal marker (but nothing mentions rounding off). I did not change any settings between when I used OpenOffice Base (where it displayed costs correctly) and when I changed over to LibreOffice Base. #1 - is this the right forum to ask this question? #2 - is anybody else having a similar problem? #3 - is there a setting that I have overlooked that will solve this unwanted rounding of costs? Thanks for any answers. jnrigg -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/rounding-off-number-results-in-Base-tp4056773.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
