That image is being updated to the current 3.3.1 RC1 and will be updated again as the 3.3.1 release proceeds. It is not available for download yet - but very quickly after the release of 3.3.1 it will be. Still working on the wrapper for the DVD ( i.e what to autostart - simple HTML interface) and will be doing that in earnest over these next few days with collaboration on the that Mailing list - I encourage those interested in this to come get involved this weekend. (will get into it first thing Sat. morning on the list) There is community branded DISC art work available also - works good with press on labels. see image here: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/cgi_img_auth.php/a/a5/Dvd-label-scale9x_3.png Along with this is a tri-fold brochure, with the same branding, available here: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:LibOPamphlet-feb_11.pdf Thanks, Drew Jensen I did not know that there was any one else working on a English version DVD. I would like to talk to the North American Team about what can or should be done for just a DVD of LibreOffice. I am working on making an English-Only DVD for LibreOffice [at least for my area]. I have the 32 and 64 bit DEB and RPM installs, plus both Mac installs, along with Windows. I added en-US, en-GB, and en-ZA language and help packs. Since my documents, templates, and other stuff is in English, I did not add any other language packs to this disc. I have a folder with many different templates, one with clipart and images. and one with extensions. I want to go over my selections for many of the clipart, extensions, and templates, to decide which ones I really want to have on this DVD. The documentation folder is as follows: 0100-LibreOffice--Getting-Started 0100-OpenOffice--Getting-Started 0200-LibreOffice--Writer-Guide--word-processor 0200-OpenOffice--Writer-Guide--word-processor 0300-OpenOffice--Calc-Guide--spreadsheet 0400-OpenOffice--Draw-Guide--drawing-package 0500-OpenOffice--Impress-Guide--presentation 0800-OpenOffice--Math-Guide--equation-editor plus a folder of some Base documents, plus a few other PDFs that have documents. I did figure on having a script saying that LO writers were also OOo writers and until LO documents get finished, OOo's version will work for now. I want to create some HTML document[s] that will help users install the packages for their platforms. I do not know much about Mac or RPM installs, so I will need help with that part. I would be nice to have some detailed walk-though instructions for installation, such as installing a JRE before you install LibreOffice. I have the latest one in the Windows folder. The label you made for your discs are nice, but I do not have a ink-jet printer that prints directly onto the media. I found that paper labels tend to bubble up after a period of time making the disc unusable [not safe to use in the reader]. I do use Light-Scribe but it is a long process to burn a monochrome label on a disc [16 to 25 minutes per disc for any good label]. As for going from the current version 3.3.0 to 3.3.1 or beyond, I just need to download the up-to-date installs and any changes to the help and language packs, the place them in the proper folder. As more of the documentation gets done, I will add it as I find it available. It would be nice to get farther along with this project, but with my injuries, etc., I cannot spend much time in front of my desktop doing all the things I want to do. I hope to make the basic HTML file in the next few days. I will be re-looking at all of the extensions available and decide what I want to include and make sure there is text with each one describing each one. Then there is the templates and such. I will have to make hard decisions on which to use and which are not going to be needed by those that will get the discs. What I want and need may not be useful to others. Tim L. I also state that the OOo guides are OK to use until LibreOffice's document writers finish those other documentation books or guides for each part of LibreOffice. Of course, most of the links for DVD labels and DVD cases are shown in German, which is where the site is originally from. I can develop my own labels, since I prefer using Light Scribe disks over the paper labels. I find that paper labels bubble up after a year or two. I have a number of DVDs that had to be thrown out due to this problem. With Light Scribe, I have no paper label, but it is monochrome and it takes time to burn the label onto the surface of the disk. Also Light Scribe does not have a 64-bit version for Linux. I will have to use my Vista laptop any my external DVD burner to do the job. Also the media is hard to find sometimes. Still it is better than dealing with bubbly paper labels if they sit around for awhile. To be honest, most of my CDs and DVDs issued to friends and family, plus some old clients, have marker labels instead of printed ones. Saves time and money for those who do not care if it is a nice printed label. One day I hope to get an ink-jet printer to print directly onto the label area of the discs. Now that would be the best solution, but my HP PSC is still a good working all-in-one printer to offset my colored laser printer. By-the-By, do not use colored laser printers for most disc labels. The toner can peal off the paper too often for safe use. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to users+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***

Thanks. There is a need or an English, and/or a multi-language ISO file that has the software in the languages used and the add on extensions, documentation, and templates in those different languages. I mainly deal with an all English version, but the official site could have an ISO to be downloaded that has the top 5 or 10 languages and their versions of the documents and such included. Hi :) It seems that the German Team do a lot to keep this sort of thing updated. Without a similar team in other countries keeping it updated might be tricky. perhaps it might be possible to list and link to the downloads that are required and then let users update the links if they need this dvd?
