I am running the new kernel, 4.17.6.  I have carefully started tasks and suspended.  With 17.5, when I got to running QEMU, having a VM (F21) running, and Firefox in it accessing some sites, I got the suspend lockup. I have gotten past that point with 17.6.  I won't say all is well with this
