Especially if they can automate "fails to install" notices, you'd
think they could also automate preventing the update from being
pushed to stable :-).

An automated "Fails to install" ticket was filed:

There's one for rawhide file

libKF5AkonadiNotes.so.5()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed

kjots-5.

No and no. If you're
way :-).
You could try doing a "dnf erase" on some of the kf5 rpms and
see the huge list of dependencies they would take with them
(and answer "no" when it asks if that is OK, don't use the -y option
for sure).

I run F31 Mate. When I run dnf upgrade, I often get dozens of kf5
entries (23 today, by my count) -- presumably because I install and
sometimes use K3B or Konqueror; I don't think I ever launch any other KDE
app, at least not knowingly.
In particular, I used to use Konq

I was all prepared to upgrade my F22 KDE laptop to F23 when I got the
kf5-filesystem warning when trying to download the upgrade files. I did
some digging and found a couple of previous posts (and the bug report)
about the issue, but wasn't able to get a complete, current status of this.
