Change the number of kernels to keep. The default is 3.
I have one old IBM R61 that has had lot of updates over the years,
and its boot partition was to small. As other suggested removing
the rescue frees space, but it gets rebuilt when new kernel is

The newer ones now work with the 6.8 kernels.

A quick note. There is a reverse VNC option with VNC that uses
port 5500 (I believe). Been a while since I used it. It is a kind of
reverse VNC. In which the client makes the connection to your
host. So, it doesn't require the port mapping.

I'd recommand doing one version upgrade at a time.
You are suppose to be able to upgrade 2 versions, but I once had it fail
and system was not easily fixable, so just did a clean install that was a
pain to get back to the state of the system.

p7zip help still shows 03/6/2016 date, while 7-zip has 08/11/24?
In a simple test of 7G directory p7zip compressed in 13 1/2 minutes
while the 7-zip (7zz) did it in 11 1/2 minutes (same 2 core notebook)

Imaged it to a 1TB SDD disk and then removed regular
disk.
