Hello list.
We have a fiber channel SAN shared betwen host and we want to use shared
LVM (clvm) without iscsi.
In new beta version there is not any LVM datastore but there is an tm_lvm.
Can we use tm_lvm with fs datastore?
How can I configure shared lvm?
Thanks in advice
Hello,
actually in OpenNebula 3.4 the TM LVM drivers have been superseeded by
the iSCSI drivers. Today we removed the tm_lvm folder from the source,
but it's possible that we will bring them back for the final release.
However, the iSCSI drivers are a starting point for integrators to
develop
Right know we only search hosts in ganglia with the name provided to
ONE (in your case you've only providede the host name) or IP. When we
do not find the hostname as is the we will try to search in the IP
field. In the case you add hosts in ONE using its IP this wil
hopefully work.
Your idea or
Dear Shah,
From OpenNebula Self-Service you have a tab dedicated to the COMPUTE
resources, where you can check the running VMs.

Hi,
I'm sorry we weren't able to figure out what was wrong, although it
didn't seem like a specific problem to OpenNebula.
Have you been able to fix this?
Cheers,
Jaime

The documentation is now changed accordingly. Sorry for that missing part.
Also as a recommendation we usually keep the files in those
directories owned by oneadmin so it's easier afterwards to manage
them.

LDAP authentication is not supported by Sunstone so it's indeed ignored.
- is it necessary to add LDAP users' passwords to open-nebula configuration?
Documention [1] says
Just to add that ldap authentication is implemented in the last beta if you
want to give it a try... check the dev guides for configuration hints...
