Hi Guys,
Are nathelper module functions ipv6 safe ? I'm getting true for nat test with
following call for an ipv6 address which is a globally unique unicast address.
nat_uac_test("19")

Bogdan,
Excellent! I have pulled the latest and verified the errors are gone. Thanks so
much for looking at this so quickly!
Sorry to be pushing these issues so much but I am very anxious to get off 1.11
and onto 2.3 and then of course to 2.4!
Thanks,

Hi there,
I’m trying to get the dialog module to work via unixodbc going to SQL Server

I’ve tried with both the FreeTDS and the Microsoft ODBC driver and getting the
same issue.
When inserting into the dialog table it appears that single quotes are not
escaped inside the ‘vars’ column.

Ben,
I did my own tests and I found and fixed the error - the fix is already
committed on all affected branches, so updating it should to the trick.
Shortly I will backport the other fix too.

Hi. I have seen that page. Since i have not any experience with Opensips, i
am asking for an example.
is there any example to setup my sip provider and the incoming/outgoing DID

I’m confused by your statement about the duplicate_uri in siptrace in 1.11
doing SIP, not HEP. The siptrace module in 1.11 has many different
configuration settings to use HEP, but the documentation specifies that the URI
must still be a SIP URI. This is how I have siptrace currently
Oh...you mentioned in the first email that you are looking to migrate
the "duplicate_uri" from 1.11 to something 2.3 specific. This is why I
pointed out the SIP based tracing.
Now, checking the hep_id parser, I guess it does not expect the '-' char
in the URI part - could you check out this
Hi Sasmita,
As MESSAGE does not create any dialog (at SIP level) and no Contact hdr
is present, you may rely only on transaction related data, like to look
in the VIA stack and identify the sender by the last/bottom VIA header.

No, I only have the mi_datagram backend configured as shown and tracing is not
enabled.

Hi Robert,
Sorry for the late reply, the 2.4 release sucked all our time.
So, by looking at the network level, you see only the last set (of
attr=val) being sent over ?

Hi Ben,
So, from siptracemodule, you have multiple options in terms of what to
do with the traced data:
* you can duplicate it via SIP
* you can dump it into DB
* you can packit over HEP for Homer
This is controlled via trace_id parameter in siptrace module.
Now, next step: if you
Hi Ben,
Do you have tracing enabled for at least one MI backend (does not matter
which one) ?

Bogdan,
That is very good to know. I thought the siptrace module was using HEP.
But still, if I want to switch to HEP in the future, which I do, I need to be
able to properly use a domain name in the proto_hep config. Any idea why that
is not working as I described originally?
Thanks,
Ben

OK, it was a quick one :D...
The "duplicate_uri" from 1.11 was duplicating the traffic via SIP, not
via HEP, so if you want to translate this setting, it has nothing to do
with the proto_hep module, but still with the siptrace module like:
/*sip trace id*/

Hi Donato,
If you do TH, there is no need to do RR as opensips will act as
end-point, not as proxy. So do not need to do record_route() and were
you have loose_route() in script, just use topology_hiding_match() function.

Ok, it seems the UTC theory was right. Quoting from "man gmtime_r":
"The gmtime() function converts the calendar time timep to broken-down
time representation, expressed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)".
This is an ugly behavior IMO (to reset counters at 21:00), and we should

Razvan,
So I'm not sure if this helps or not but we just tested Janus and I was able to
connect our device using that. I must have something wrong with my webrtc
gateway approach in rtpengine. We would like to use opensips as it is more
versatile at least we can prove not it isn't our devices.
I will take care of the seq calls + "UTC time" investigation. Just let
me know if you find anything else that refutes the theory in the
meantime. For example, if fraud alerts are also skipped during daylight
hours.

Did OpenSIPS crash or restart between 0:25 - 3:20? I double checked, and
"total_calls" cannot be reset in another way.
Another possibility is that the code sees GMT time. Since Москва is on
GMT+3, this may well explain the situation: first calls were placed
around 21:25 GMT, then the "total
Hmmm it is interesting hypothesis. About time.I tried to check it directly. Now we have 04/04/2018 I made a test call and time answer was "Ср апр 4 14:45:37 MSK 2018" from unix shell command 'date', where апр - aprilСр - Wednesday4 - 4 april14:45:37 - timeMSK 2018 - timezone and a year. So in
Hi Liviu,
I had no idea that it was necessary to use "seed". Where is this documented?
I've just added it to the flags column for my first node. This seems to have

- NAT Pings are now only coming from one node, not from both
- Location data is being replicated when

I suppose that record route is implicit using topology hiding module: is
that correct?

Quick question, before I read everything: did you designate a "seed"
node in your cluster? To achieve this, you must pick a node and set the
"flags" column to the "seed" string. We're patching up a lot of
documentation during these days, including this "seed" idea.
