Hello,
I have to get into this discussion now since obviously a very interesting
way to show mails have been changed.
Alec, is there a way to change a setting that users return to the message
list after deleting an opened mail?
I really loved the fact that Roundcube went back to the message

No, currently there's no such option.
I really loved the fact that Roundcube went back to the message overview

Yes, I have set the preview panes off - but I've let it an open choice for
users. I know some of them are using it, some are not.
But it would be definitely good to have at least a switch in the config file

Yes, I agree. I hate going to the next mail all the time. It slows things
down especially (or maybe ineveitably) when all I do is click close for
all the reasons Claudio mentions anyway.
Keep up the good work though ! I
think Roundcube is a great project going somewhere better and better.

Heh... hopefully there will be separate options for the preview pane and
if messages opened in separate windows?

I *want* to display the next message when in the preview pane, but *not*
if the message is open in a separate window.
In my opinion, it's better to have

In relation to this option is there a possibility to have an option so
that when you'r previewing a message in the preview pane the message is not

Such feature isn't planned for 0.3, so you'll need to wait.
There's a ticket in trac.

I just installed version 0.30RC1. So far so good. I created a new
install with a brand new config file instead of upgrading. But, when I
delete a message which is open, it now opens up the next message. My other
