And you can install it directly from the Microsoft Store (works also on

On my laptop with Windows 11, OpenOffice starts and runs fine. This does not
mean that I can say that all possible functions will work. There are quite a
few things I haven't tried yet... ;-)))

Yes, I have used End Task in Task Manager to quit OpenOffice and then
restarted Windows 11. There was no change in the behavior of OpenOffice
after the restart.
I downloaded OpenOffice from the web, uninstalled OpenOffice and
re-installed OpenOffice. Everything is back to "normal

Have you tried forcing OpenOffice to quit from the Task Manager and then reboot
computer?
