I have both installed on Windows 7 64-bit, with no problems.
Quickstarter is off, and I have not tried to use them simultaneously.

Hi :)
I think it's the same conflicts as between any 2 versions of LibreOffice or any
2 versions of AOO or OOo. Basically avoid having both open at the same time.
That might mean turning off the Quickstarter of both of them.

We didn't do extensive testing with AOO/LO co-install on Windows, but
we did do some basic testing. This was with AOO 4.0 and LO 4.0.

Under GNU/Linux, you need to install them with the official packages from their
respective website. Using the version delivered by your distro may lead to

Are there any known conflicts with having LO 4.0.4 and AOO 4.0 installed on the
same computer? In my never-ending, obsessive (and admittedly futile) search for
computing perfection, I want to try both programs to see which better meets my
techno-needs.

Hi all!
Two simple questions:
In the TS, environment, how many MB is occupied in the profile of users in
c:\documents and settings\user profile\application data?
2 - You can change the path of the profile files to Local Settings, such as
the Mozilla Firefox for example?

That's not the issue. Apache OpenOffice does not discriminate on that basis.
What is the issue is that Apache OpenOffice uses the on-desktop protocol for
requesting the opening of an e-mail with a given attachment. This will usually

Google has no email client.
All it offers is a web interface to their email server.
OpenOffice need to find an email program e.g.. Thunderbird
So you need to wait till version 1 of the Google email client if that
ever will come.
