Marion, Assuming that you had your hard drive replaced: 1) I'd retrieve them from my Time Machine backup (I use an inexpensive external 1 Terabyte hard drive) 2) I'd ask the person who replaced it to try and retrieve the files from the old hard drive. 3) Kiss them goodbye and start
