Once in a week our firm gets a big excel file with auto filter enabled. If
we open this file with calc then only the second row is always for auto
filter enabled not the whole sheet.
This is reported as an issue in issuedatabase.

Thanks a lot. This seems to be a good workaround. Now I can repair original
(much larger) document :-)
But what is wrong with this lines? Why is it impossible to print them. That
might a nice feature for cells that should not appear in printout.
